Contemporary artist Sammy Baloji discusses his work from the Mémoire series with Ashley Duhrkoop, Curatorial Associate for African Art and Mellon Grant Project Administrator. Their talk will explore connections between Baloji's photomontages and paintings by Tshibumba Kanda-Matulu in VMFA's permanent collection.
