Brown strives for balance between shape, surface, color and proportion is primary in assembling her sculptures — intuitive best describes her approach. Elements are meticulously selected, arranged and rearranged, assembled and reassembled, in the constant quest for that correct, if sometimes awkward, balance. Exploration and experimentation keep her engaged to continue trying various mediums and techniques. The focus of this series reflects her intention to create unique pieces by combining the varied visual influences that inspire her everyday.
